There are a lot of references in the bible regarding God’s warning to Israel and today’s world. I asked the Lord the other day to show me the mystery of the bible and what is the message hidden in the Scriptures. It is a journey to understand the New Testament, so many Scriptures in just a few hours but one thing I discover that God showed me and would like to share with you…Glory to God!
The message of the New Testament had to do with the way the Israelites acted and behave themselves towards God. He told them about everything that was about to take place if they did not rectify and amend their ways. Most of the Prophets talked about Israel the Daughter of Zion and this is what I gather so far.

In Ezekiel 16: 23 “Woe! Woe to you, declares the Sovereign Lord, In addition to all your other wickedness,

Isaiah 3: 9 The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves.
And again in …
Revelation 18:10 Terrified at her torment, they will stand for far off and cry: “Woe! Woe, O great city, O Babylon, city of power! In one hour your doom has come!
Revelation 18: 16 Woe! Woe, O great city dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet, and glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls!
Q. Who God was referring as a prostitute in the Scriptures? It wasn’t about a woman; He was talking about the disgrace acts of the Israelites at that time when they were astray doing displeasing things in the sight of the Lord. Isn’t that what is going on today?
In Proverbs 2:16 says It will save you also from the adulteress, from the wayward wife with her seductive words, who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God. For her house leads down to death and her paths to the spirits of the dead.
And Proverbs 2: 13-14 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding. For she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
Q. Why God mention a man in the beginning and then changed it to a woman? Well, because He is not addresing to a woman in the scriptures. Neither He is referring to a person.
And In Proverbs 5 He talks about the “warning against adultery” and in Proverbs 7 about the “warning against the adulteress”
GOD IS THE GROOM AND WHO IS THE BRIDE? Most of us will say “The Church” and we are right!
Thought- God felt replaced by the Israelites because SHE (as He refer to Israel) forgot the promise they made to Him and commit adultery against God in their wicked ways by putting other gods before the Lord and forgot their first love. That’s why God always warns us not to put any idols before Him, that was one of the fallen human nature back then and now; therefore neither Greek nor gentiles, we are all Children of God.
Isaiah 62: 4-5 For this is what the Sovereign LORD says:"At first my people went down to Egypt to live; lately, Assyria has oppressed them. "And now what do I have here?" declares the LORD. "For my people have been taken away for nothing, and those who rule them mock," declares the LORD. And all day long my name is constantly blasphemed.
2 Kings 22: 16-17 This is what the Lord says: I am going to bring disaster on this place and its people according to everything written I n the book the king of Judah has read. Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and provoked me to anger by all the idols their hands have made, my anger will burn against this place and will not be quenched.
Ezekiel 5:8-9 8 "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself am against you, Jerusalem, and I will inflict punishment on you in the sight of the nations. Because of all your detestable idols, I will do to you what I have never done before and will never do again.
2 Kings 17:35-41 When the LORD made a covenant with the Israelites, he commanded them: "Do not worship any other gods or bow down to them, serve them or sacrifice to them. 36 But the LORD, who brought you up out of Egypt with mighty power and outstretched arm, is the one you must worship. To him you shall bow down and to him offer sacrifices. You must always be careful to keep the decrees and ordinances, the laws and commands he wrote for you. Do not worship other gods. Do not forget the covenant I have made with you, and do not worship other gods. Rather, worship the LORD your God; it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies." They would not listen, however, but persisted in their former practices. Even while these people were worshiping the LORD, they were serving their idols. To this day their children and grandchildren continue to do as their fathers did.
Jeremiah 6:18-23 Therefore hear, O nations; observe, O witnesses, what will happen to them. Hear, O earth: I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes, because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law. What do I care about incense from Sheba or sweet calamus from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable; your sacrifices do not please me." Therefore this is what the LORD says: "I will put obstacles before this people. Fathers and sons alike will stumble over them; neighbors and friends will perish." This is what the LORD says: "Look, an army is coming from the land of the north; a great nation is being stirred up from the ends of the earth. They are armed with bow and spear; they are cruel and show no mercy. They sound like the roaring sea as they ride on their horses; they come like men in battle formation to attack you, O Daughter of Zion."
Ezekiel 14:12-14 The word of the LORD came to me: "Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its men and their animals, even if these three men—Noah, Daniel and Job—were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign LORD.
Lamentations 3:21-26 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him." The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
Ezekiel 11:18-21 "They will return to it and remove all its vile images and detestable idols. I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. 20 Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God. 21 But as for those whose hearts are devoted to their vile images and detestable idols, I will bring down on their own heads what they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD."
Ezekiel 14:6 "Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices!
Jeremiah 4:1-2 "If you will return, O Israel, return to me," declares the LORD. "If you put your detestable idols out of my sight and no longer go astray, and if in a truthful, just and righteous way you swear, 'As surely as the LORD lives,' then the nations will be blessed by him (God) and in him (God) they will glory."
…And this is the love God has for the Daughter of Zion
